SUDDEN DEATH AT LYNDHURST. [Newspaper Article] — South Bourke and Mornington Journal — 12 June 1878

SUDDEN DEATH AT LYNDHURST   A very sudden death occurred on Saturday last at Lyndhurst; which created both surprise and regret when it became known in the locality. The victim was a young man named George Payne, twenty-   seven years of age, who, for some time previously had been suffering from heart disease. Mr. Payne   was enjoying is usual health on Saturdat     and was out on horseback, but during the afternoon symptoms of illness manifested themselves without any warning, which compelled the unfortunate young man to lie down. Medical aid was at once sent for, and Dr. Williams, of Dandenong,was in   attendance within two hours, but on his arrival he discovered that the sufferer had ceased to live.
