An easily ctiltivated and satis factory ilower is to bo found in any of the various kinds of ileur-de-iis iris. The- oldfashioncd blue and purple, bearing n very close re semblance to the wild sweet flag, and the golden yellow of the same variety are handsome, but some other kinds are even haudsomer. The weather in March this year was so unusually cold that the night of time may not be noted. Farm work will wait, however, and all possible preparation for the plauting in open ground, that must so soon be done, should be made now.
