Now we liave a bean that docs not grow in a night, but it takes the place of '20 ordinary French bean plants, and is a bettor all round bean. The name of tins bean is I'/piuuie, in, iuuiii^ luxurious ana dainty eater. This bean is a run ner, climbing to a height of 6 feet, and crops very heavily. The ground should be manured and d'ug deeply, making it as light as possible. In dry weather keep the bean growing by mulching and watering.
