Trial of gro Jack. On Wednesday ast, 12t instant at 10 o'clock A. M., Judge Guy H. Bell, assisted by fus colleague, Ulysse Gaberel Esq., and ten jurors, freeholders, have proceeded to the trial of the negro-man JAoK, accused of having murdered his master, Mr. Olivier Lafleur, a respectable planter of Grande Prairie, in this Parish, on the 5th of September last. Two witnesses declared, that on the morning of the 5th, they were on the plantation of Mr. Olivier Lafleur, when they heard the firing of a gun, a few minutes afterwards they saw Mr. Lafleur running and full of blood towards his house, and Jack fol lowing him with a loaded gXn.
