Warm Water for Plants. The temperature of the water used in watering house plants or even those in the open border, is a matter that nhould receive more attention than is givuu it. It is too often the case that the temperature is wholly unknown, anil frcat injury is often the cone queucc. There is no mistaking the ef fect of warm spring rains upon the young grass and plants, and its inllu ence upon the germination of seeds; whilst autumn rains unless they too are warm produce no such sudden and vivifying effects.
