Haynes Wylie's Jamia Robinson ended her Wylie High School career with a second-place finish in state 400 meter race at Friday's UIL state track and field meet held in Austin. Robinson is a senior and will run for the University of North Texas next year. Robinson ran the distance Friday in 55.69, finishing behind Sandy Wooten of Mineral Wells (54.03), and well ahead of Lancaster's Tiara Miller, who finished fifth (57.52). Miller had taken first place to Robinson's second at the regional meet two weeks earlier. "I didn't run my best race," Robinson said. "I think I would have felt better if I had gotten third and run my best time."
