1'RAHRAN. The Borough Council of Prahran held their annual meeting in the Town-ball, on Wed nesday, at noon; the Mayor (Councillor Vail) presiding. Tne tninutes of the. previo~us meetingv were readn?id conifirined. The town clerk laid on the table the annual statement of accounts, from which it appeared that a sum of, £4703 7s. 6d. lihd been received on neepunt of rates, inclusive of orrears since 1856;. £1337 is. 8d. had been received fiomu iublicans' licenses, 3206 7s. Gd. fromn dog registration fees, £1238 3s. 8d.' share ot Brightou-road toll fund, £170 5s. use of town-hall; deposits, £285 1is. gd.; and other accounts brought the total receipts t, S927l 3s. 4d.
