COLONIAL EXTRACTS. AUSTRALIAN EXPORTS. [Newspaper Article] — The Moreton Bay Courier — 28 October 1848

COLONIAL EXTRACTS   AUSTRALIAN EXPORTS i   The following extracts, which we take from a   commercial letter in the Port Phillip Herald, are worthy of the most attentive consideration on the part of the graziers:-                                 I regret that I am constrained to confess to     there being no redeeming-feature that is likely to benefit you, from present appearances - trade is so languid and spiritless. This mode of treating the subject is convenient to their alarms and, apprehensions, and operates like balm: but the evil is deep rooted, and forces me to the belief that the June s...

THE FERRIES. [Newspaper Article] — The Moreton Bay Courier — 28 October 1848

THE FERRIES. ON the fifth of December next the leases,1 for twelve months, of the ferry between North and South Brisbane, and of that at, Kangaroo Point, are again to be submitted to public competition.
