At the Taiuwoi'tii Circuit Court on Thutday, Ernest Montgomery Joins vv^s charged with feloniously unci nialiciou-ly murdering Alfred Pitman, on November 1, 1^00, at Whahm's Creek After healing evidence for ihe proscution, a statement was made by tile accm-ed as follows: — He said that tin; night before he left Pitman's he saw Oosgrove and a girl behind a shed in » questionable position.'
