FACTUAL REPORT OF RECENT FOOTBALL TRIP TO MAIN _CAMPB6 * "All aboard" was the cry heard at 7*15 A.M. last Saturday as the two buses carrying 82 Highacres students and faculfer members began ¦UssSSJr _fovrrgr to the Main _Campus and the Penn State vs. Holy Cross football _jgame_. Things went smoothly on ssfcate to the campus. Only a few minor details gave some life to the journey*—such as losing two or throe students at the first coffee stop and another two or three more by foiling out of the bus windows# Finally, MAIN CAMPUS 1 The bus no sooner stopped when a mad scramble started. _^REPORT" CONTINUED I And then....,the rain came down* This caused the stands to empty — and at this point Highacres lost a few more of its students, Francis Sullivan, showing up at the bus an hour lateinsisted that the parking lot had been movedo A little investigation proved that Francis had not even been looking for the parking lotJ*(Just kidding, Fran) Richard Allison and Ronald Reichart covered Main Campus from end to end looking for the bus. At last the bus driver found them* After rounding up all the members of the contingent, the buses headed for home . As everyone sat in their damp clothingcolds, sinus trouble sneezing and coughing started» Bus #1 was doing fine when all at once it jerked, sputtered, and slowly rolled off the highway. _TSO STATE _STARTERS MAI MISS PITT GAME Penn State Coach Rip Engle said that halfback Roger Kochnana speedster from Wilkinsburg, Pa,, may miss the game with Pitt on Saturday because of a knee injury, Kochman was hurt early in last Saturday ' s rout of Holy Cross and underwent treatment at the university infirmary for _stuained knee ligaments, Kochman, a star in the West Virginia and Syracuse games, was promoted to the first team left halfback post against the Crusaders, He was injured while blocking in the Lions' first series of downs. Guard Bill Popp of Steelton also was listed as a doubtful starter against the Panthers in Pittsburgh, Popp injured an ankle against the Crusaders, Meanwhileschool, officials refused to comment on Penn State's receipt of an invitation to play in the Liberty Bowl in Philadelphia _Qec8 19.
