Cincinnati , July 27 . —A few reports on the cabbage outlook In Ohio were received from growers and shippers by The Tacker this week and some of them follow : Greenville . O . —There will be no cabbage to ship from this place . The P . J . welter Co . has it all contracted and is putting up a plant here . —Lockwood & Milan , O . —There are not many cabbage growers In this part of the country , but . probably 12 cars will be shipped in October . The condition of 44 for the entire country compares with . 70 a year ago and 65 , the average at this time of the year for . the past ten years . Homesrown Vegetables . Cincinnati , July 27 . —Small supplies of homegrown peppers came in this week and sold at $ 1 . 75 to $ 2 per bushel . This will put an end to the demand here for Southern peppers . Green beans sold this week at $ 2 to * 2 . 50 per 2-bvishel sack . Offerings were fairly large . Peas sold generally at 7 oc to $ 1 per bushel . Oreen corn was a little higher this week , selling at 20 c per dozen . Offerings of homegrown onions were moderate . The common price was $ 3 per barrel . Dealers report about half of a full crop in the Cincinnati district this season . City Investigating . Cincinnati , July 27 . —City officials have been investigating what is alleged to be an Irregularity in the matter of collecting licenses from retailers who occupy stands in the various city markets here .
