LOCAL POLITICS. Bncklcy Will Not Indorse Deu prey's Nominees. t*- . j": Waterman's Fish: AtrainstiCo'.ocel ark ham. James D. Byrnes' Illness Not Very Serious— Random Nates. — _f ■ _ It is claimed by the followers of Buckley that the "boss" will never! allow his conven tion to indorse a single one of the candidates nominated by- the Irving Hall.convention lb' would piefer, it is asserted, to see Ills entire ticket sacrificed at toe rolls to even - acknowledging the existence of the reform movement It is claimed further that he had determined to nominate Selden S. . 2 LOCAL POLITICS. Republican Primaries Pass Off Very Quietly. Democratic Reformers Complete Their Ticket. Governor Waterman's Call— Fourth District Republicans. The Republican primaries were conducted yesterday In the most quiet manner, and there was an entire absence of the disgrace ful scenes which so often characterize elec tions of that nature. No trouble of any kind was reported, and the only soreness of any kind that exists is in the Thirty-eighth District, where lsl,i<«l>iini and McDougall were, in the language of the "heeler," "thrown over a barrel." It seems that they were not satisfied with the ticket nan by the precinct clubs, and accordingly made up one more suitable to their views. This they bad printed to the number of 2500 aud delivered over for safe keeping to a supposed friend. The latter, they now aim, proved a traitor, and too late they discovered that their tickets had been consigned to Hie tender mercies of a convenient sewer. As a result they were defeate...
