ONE MORE DIVISION SCHEME People of Lower Valley Are Sung "Song of Siren." 11 ( 'uest ion of county division is aail caJuing quite a ferment among ti, . itizQs of the Lower Valley -nd rortherh Dawson County. In the last issue of the Fairview Times, Editor Mitchell has the following statements, wlich are of extreme interest: 'Do you know that you, your fami lies, homes, live stock and machinery are about to be stolen from you, and carried over into the new county of Shaw, which amounts to nothing more than the making of some boom town, north of the Missouri River, a county seat, and compelling you to pay, by your taxes, for its boom and beautifi cation. "Have you received your tax notice yet? If so, look it over and ask your self if it would not be larger if the cost of a bridge across the Missouri river and a new court house were ad ded to the already large current ex penses of a new county, i...

DowN at Wibaux, a man named Brenzier got into a dispute with his landlady over his board bill and to enforce his side of the argument he displayed a revolver in her presence. A warrant was issued for his arrest and in justice court he was found guilty of carrying concealed wea pons and a fine of $120 and costs was imposed. In lieu of the money he is now boarding at the county jail. We wonder, if by the time his sentence has expired he will try the same stunt again. BEACH is sure some town when it comes to having one eye open and on the lookout for ways and means of bringing people to the stores to spend their money. The latest fad to be staged in that town is a good old fashioned market day. P...

Purely Paragraph By Dan X Grss The poor hen-pecked husband dreads nothing so much as his own fireside, where he had ought to have nothing but loving words, newspapers and carpet slippers. Folks had ought to say what they mean, unless they mean something they hadn't ought to say. One way to get yourself disliked is to explain to folks that they are wrong. It isn't no easy job to be an insur avce agent and poke yourself into places where you aint wanted. Some times things are said that look better unprinted. Because a man is redheaded, don't laugh at him. There may be a reason. Woman was doubtless created to reform man. Lord, but she has an awful job on her hands. The man who always thinks of him self alone has got a whole lot to learn before he gets what he is after. Seems as if that was the way of the world, a few people enjoy the fruits and the rest slip down on the peelings. Brief and Breezy Italy won't find it a very Thanks giving Turkey. Talk and no "do" makes any city a corrupt...
