Causes and Cure of Rheumatism rwimon rheumatism is 'a Jisn&Rn which affects the joints, the binges of the bouym buch u wy uiui mo sugut est motion of the ailing part gives pain. A creaking hinge is dry and tarns bard. A single drop of oil to moisten it makes a wonderful change, nd it instantly moves on itself with the greatest facility. All kinds of rheumatism are the result of an in flamation of the surface of joints. In flamation is beat, this beat dries their surfaces; hence, the very slightest ef fort at motion gives a piercing pain. In a healthy condition of the parts, nature is constantly throwing out a lubricating oil, which keeps the joints in a perfectly smooth and easy work ing condition. Rheumatism is almost always caused indeed, it may he nearer the truth to say that it is al ways the result ef a cold dampness.
