Johnson) presided over a good attendance of members. Ap ologies for unavoidable absence were received from "Mesdames R. .E. Cooke,,L. McGregor, G. J. Miller and Miss M. Chittilk.. GENERAL Quotations are to be called for the catering at the Official Luncheon. Revision of the schedule was com pleted in all sections excepting the Cut Flowers Section which has been deferred till the next meeting, await ing certain suggestions to be submit ted in the meantime. Messrs. TAoth and Co. have again donated 2 dozen bottles of Sheaf Stout for competition purposes. Last year this Was given as the prize for guessing the weight of the Fat Bul lock. However it was intimated at the meeting that the sale of tickets was retarded in some quarters, from many who preferred a cash prize. Eventually it was decided that the winner could have his or her choice o? the cash or the Stout.

SCHOOL NOTES I -. BY "PREFECT" * Egg Day was held this week for the District Hospital. A total of 55 dozen was contributed .by the child ren. Some of the tiny ones found that eggs.still don't bounce. Recent visitors to the School in cluded Mr. Finley of the Research Branch, who gave Vocational Guid ance tests to a'll pupils over 14; Mr., Sid Hayes, arranging details for summer sport; Miss J. Hart, demon strator in Physical Culture, and Mir. Sam Hosken our District Inspector. Our new flag was flown for the first time recently; gold with blue lettering. Several phone calls were received during the course of the day, enquiring if the School was in quarintine. The annual Athletic Carnival was lield on Wednesday, the premier House being Kendall which finished 5 points ahead of Dunstan, with Bass third. Kendall Captains, John McAuliffe and Claire Bloomfield org anised their teams very well and outstanding performers in athletics for the winners were Marie Wilson, Marie Tieck, Judy Tidmars...
