Helping One Another Coconut Macaroons. ' Mrs. J. A. (Teerongpilly) has also for warded this recipe for coconut macaroons for the benefit of J.M. (Paddington) : — Take tho whites of 2| eggs, beat to a stiff froth, one spare breakfastcupful of fine sngar. Beat the *ggs and sugar till firm enough to keep its shape alone, add coconut until stiff, then drop in lablespoonfuls on a greased tin- Bake 5n a slow oven until a nice 'brown. Cream Puffs and Mock Cream. Tor the benefit of J.M. (Paddington) the following recipea have come to hand: — Cream Pnffs. Put into an enamel saucepan 5 cup of butter and 1 eup of hot water. Let these come to the bo:I. and while boil ing stir in one cup of self-raising flour, then take it off the stove, leave to get cold.
