DEMOCRATIC CONVENTION. Held at the Court House Tuesday. State Delegates Elected. The Granite County Democratic con vention convened at the court house at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning. -Peter Gallagher, chairman of the county cen tral committee, called the meeting to order. A NArT1RAL WONDER. A Cave in Humboldt County Which Resembles an Abandoned Mine. A correspondent in the Winnemucca (Nev.) Silver State writes the follow ing: In Humboldt county, about 80 miles east of Winnemncca, in what is known as the Osgood range of moud tains, near Eden creek, is a natural wonder in the shape of a cave of quite large dimensions, eat out in the solid formation, resembling an old worked out mine, with its incline drifts and stopes, but showing no trace that this work was ever done by mankind.
