Hall, principal of the Ilope schools, was in the city. Mr. Hall is one of the most successful and competent teachers in the county and is very-popular in Ilope. A.S.Phillips, one of the county's successful teachers, was in the city and made the Reflector a pleasant call. Mr. Phillips received a flattering vote for county surveyor but was not quite up to the winningfigures. Lewis F. Volkman, one of Liberty township's prosperous young farmers, was in the city and visited the Re flector, sanctum. H THE OFEIOIAL CANVASS TUESDAY'S VOTE. or Nottorf, Bomig asd Baker Elected by the Eepublicans Few Changes in the Eeflector's Figures Small Alliance Majorities. The loud mouthed calamityites who have been talking about town that there were mistakes in the Reflect or's figures and that the alliance candidate for county clerk was elected, had a quietus put on them today when the official canvass was held. It was not until 1 p. m. that the canvassing board met. Commissioners Baker, Kandt and Hoover make up the board and as the county has so many precincts it was late this afternoon when tbe canvass was completed. Few changes were shown from the Reflector's figures of Wednesday and the slight changes on county clerk were in Nottorf 's favor. F. E.
