NOVEMBER IS, 1976 ELGIN — A contract with Primary Health Care Plann- ing and Programming (PHCPP) was executed by the Elgin Hospital Authority Tuesday night. The proposed document will be returned to the association to sign, thus finalizing the two month long negotiation between the Authority and PHCPP. ; Meeting in regular session November 11, the members all agreed that except for a few minor changes, the con- tract was "ready to go." An absence of an expira- tion date on the document was of concern to Mark Owen, the authority's legal advisor, and a two year termination date was added to the contract. TIMES: Have you seen a significant change in the day to day problems of running the county in the past ten years? Griesenbeck: The de- cisions and today are quite different from what they were back in '67 when I took office. A good example is the federal government's development of the revenue sharing program. TEIA3 7B957 THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 18,1976 Exotic Wildlife on the Range 1 . . ■ '■ , An exotic trophy kill - the fntuv of every hunter is to kill an exotic animal and have its head mounted in his trophy room. Sable ante- lopes, White elk, elands, addaxes, gazelles, caribou, Aoudad sheep, ibexes, oryxes, Black Buck ante- lopes, and Fallow deer are but a few of the exotic game that the average American hunter will never have a chance to hunt, much less kill, unless he can afford to go to Africa, Asia, or Siberia. During the past decade, however, the hunter's fantasy has become more of a reality. With the growing number of game, farms across the country, a new type of game farm has emerged - the exotic game farm. These game farms specialize in exotic game -- game animals that are not habitants of North America. The game farms are private- ly owned and in moat cases they are leased to corpora- tions for their employees and clients. There are m...

SMITHV1LLE - Depend- ing an what side yon were cn Friday night, die game between the Snritbville Tigers and the La Grange Leopards was either very, very bad or very, very good when La Grange defeated Smr^ville 61 to 3. Tut ild, wet, rainy night saw large crowds gather to watch the teams. In the first quarter, Smith- ville seemed to be holding their own when Tig Mike Chapman kicked a 23 yard field goal potting Smithville on the scoreboard with 3 points. This victory was short-lived, however, when the sccond quarter came around. The second quarter obviously held some special magic for La Grange. The Leopards scored S touch- downs with only a matter of 5 or 6 plays between each one. One conversion pass and three PAT's kicked by Tommy Supak were the add- ed points. Bradley Kalmus, Michael Miller, Douglas Rkhter, and Richard Cer- noch were responsible for four of the...
