Sydney, 1st Dec., 1899. bib. — With reforenoe to your letter of the 30th Septembei last, urging that additional expenditure be made on the road from Botn balo to Nimitybelle, I have the honor to in form you that it is reported the total value of contract work now in hand on this road is £586 14s 9d, of which £281 is for mainten ance materiul and tho balance, £305 14s 9d, for construction, comprising a total length of 44 ohains.
