BIKCHIP v. WATCHEJf. The second round of tho aboro associa tion was concluded on Wednesday last, when Watcliem journeyed to Birchip to try conclusions with tho latter < cliib. The strong soulhorn gale which was blowing right across tho ground, mnde it very unpleasant both for spectators and players. ICoper was in charge of tho game, and started the ball rolling well up to time. Watchem took tho ball info Birchip'* territory after the bounce, but W. Field ing drove back, and the play was soon at tho other end. Birchip, kicking with the Wind, tried to force tho play to tho west side of the ground, but Watchem's back |men, M'Callum, Fcehan, and Colbert, sent the ball out of danger repeatedly. A lot of out of bounds play followed, and Birchip drove tho ball well up, where " Tiny " Williams, in endeavoring to secure the ball, struck a little uneven ground and sprained his ankle.
