MINING. THE KING GTJNNIA C.M. SYNDICATE. -The above property is held very largely by persons in Kadina, Wallaroo, and Snowtown, and is situated about six miles from Silverton. Captain D. Jane, who is well known on Wallaroo Mines, has jast taken obarge. The Syndicate has had some difficulty in constructing a passable road to the place. The pro perty had been prospected previously and the lode tested to some extent. But as it is the intention of the present owners to have a parcel of ore taken to Wallaroo for treatment, the first thing to be done was to make a road. The wprk was begun, about a fortnight; before the new year, and Captain Jane writing on the 31st say a, "I finished the road on Wed* Wednesday, got. to the mine on Thursday and .since then hare fixed camp and cut timber for logging tip shaft, and being windlass, and hare commenced cleaning up shaft to-day."
