BLACKALL POLICE COURT - On July 26th, before the Police Magistrate, Charles Abrahams pleaded guilty to a charge of drunk and disorderly, and was fined 40s.-J. Hall, for horsestealing, and J. Downes, forgery, were further remanded for eight days. On August 2nd., Frederick Anderson was charged with absenting himself from from the hired service of Mr. J. Stuart, of Malvern. De fendant is a shearer, and was employed in that capacity at Malvern Hills. On the 31st July he left his work, and was going from the station , when he was arrested by Con- stable Byrne.
