Mew York, Feb. „ The British bark Agineouit,; from Hong Koug and St. Helena, reports having left the United States gunboat Mohican at St. Helena, December 30, aud brought despatches from her. She also reports that oa the 3d of November, in the Straits of Suuda, spoke the American bark Amanda, Irom Manilla lor Cork, and on the 5th, at night, saw a vessel on firesupposed tu be the Amanda. A number of vessels were close 1o her. The report of the Agiucourt does not mention seeing the pirate Alabama.
