As Extensive Held Trial (Extract from the ' Narromine 'N ews' of February 10. 1899.) A lield trial of the Bray brook im plement Company's (Melbourne) Ma chinery, was conducted by the firm's representative* Mr. George Simpson in Mr. O'Neil's paddock, the use of which was kindly granted by Mr. W. O'iNeil. The trial f^vas witnessed by the great est number of farmers ever gathered in JS*arromine. Five distinct kinds of ploughs were employed in the trial. The first. one tried was a four furrow Stump Jump Paring Plough, this par ticular implement having a very short mould board constructed on the com plex principle. It ploughed fully 8 inches deep, and made a perfect seed bed. The second one tried was a four furrow set plough with a gridironl frame made of the very best spring steel.
