In the mean time it ia stated that evidence has been discover ed that will ultimately save him, how ever little worthy he may be of it. It now appears that Cleveland's letter of acceptance has been withheld till after the arrival of Blaine, Cleveland fearing that the plumed knight, at the big demonstration on his arrival, wonld give it an overhauling, and would call the attention of the oountry to the weak points it is known to contain.
