Paced by Kenneth Browning, who carried off scoring honors with 16 points, the Cata were never in danger after the first goal was ringed. The Tom Cats, who edged out the Rebels in the final game last year 26 to 14 to become the intra- mural basketball champions, are practically the same team. The Tom Cats, who boast such veterans of last years' cage champions as Wood, Browning, Moss, Hudspeth, Bean and Mutiny, are expected to be the team to beat this year. Although there has been no out- standing play by any one team, four contenders including the de- fending champions appeared to be on the top of the pile.
