SEAT FIGHT - IV ;on Scored Another Vital Point in The Contest For The County Seat of Crosby County Yesterday when af? opinion, ^signed by Chief Justice Huff, was handed down in the Court of Civil Appeals, af- firming judgment of the lower court. The law allows a special time in which motion for re- hearing may be filed. Should this period elapse before the necessary action is taken, the final chapter in this interest- ing litigation will doubtless have been written. , • The case which was appealed to the Court of Civil Appeals was reversed, and rendered during the last term. Questions were then certified to the Supreme Court of Texas, which handed down an opinion reversing and re- manding the case. . n Fair Grounds Sssociation is Name Will Build Large 300x450 Fair Grounds Crosby County Fair This Fall That Crosby County is to have a Fair this Fall the business men of Croi&ytdh with, the assistance of the Crosbytoii Commercial Club have decided to erect a Fair grounds equipment and be ready for the work that may come up. • When the matter of the Crosbyton Fair Grounds Association was brought to the attention of Julian M. Bassett, he at once took to the matter and said that he and his company would give the ground, which is to be 300x450 feet, located in the east side of town. The com- mittees were appointed and put out to sell the stoek in the Association and in less than an hour the full amount had been bought and pdid for and the papers for the incor- poration of the Crosbyton Fair Grounds Association are in Austin and the Charter will be forthcoming soon.
