Diphtheria has broken out at Queens town, one child, a son of Mr. Con Hildebrand, having died dof that com plaint last Friday, and several other supposed cases reported, in consequent of which the Queenstown State school has been closed. We are sorry to recorl the loss of a respected neighbour, Mr. RohertSteven. son, his only son having come to ln untimely end lnst Friday afternoon by falling into a water hole and being drowned. Out on Pomberton's 'lines I camo to a splot oni the highway where the irood narrowed to about 10 feet, and just here was a faded old mule hitched to a wnggon loaded with a quarter of a cord of wood.
