POLICE RAID HOHEL. Eleven Men al Court. Percy O'Connor. Frederick Mendham, Ernest Rofe. Robert Roberts. George J. Solway. Earl Haydon, Horace N. Mc laurin, Edward J. Ashcroft. Ernest J. Marden, John Marsden and Alfred J. Williams were charged at Liverpool Police Court on Monday with having been found on licensed promises of the Collingwood Hotel during prohibited hours on August 28. Sergeant Holman gave evidence that ' the men were found unlawfully at the hotel at about 12 midnight. In the case of the four lastnamed. Mr. Gillan Murphy said two vira visitors at the hotel, and the other tv;j were their 1 puests. The Marsdens were trustees of the hotel. I Each was fined 10 . costs 8'.

FISHING NOTES. (By "GREEN WEED.") The Coast fishing parly had a rough time at Corrimal recently, and no luck with ¡.he fish. One member of the party spent- a fortnight mere, to be joined by ,one of the other members for the sec ond week). They got no fish. The last few days of their stay was spoilt by the hurricane, and lt is reported that some members of the camp sat up all one night -scared stiff by the wind. However, a very pleasant couple of weeks' holiday was spent. Next week-end three members of the party are going to try their luck on a launch trip in the vicinity ot Botany, and hope to come back loaded to the ? iilimsoll with some of those big bream Mart still talks about. Let's hope they have fine weather,'ol' Malt will have a couple of seasick land lubbers on his hands. George's River fishing is now showing definite signs of being good in a short while. Though large bags are not the present order of the day, mullet, bream, flathead and darkies are' being caught, and prawns...
