THE BILLINGSGATE RAG, ALIAS The Launceston Observer We stop the Press to announce the premature death of the above-named short-lived, black guard. Journal, which the Cornwall Chronicle says, was "got up by the tail of a miserable Faction,   'decidedly to coincide' with the measures of a Go   vernment, hostile to the welfare of a whole commu nity.' An inquest was held over the remains; and on examining EIGHT HUNDRED numbers of it, be fore burial in a dunghill, and carefully collecting all possible evidence relative to the awful catastro phe, it was found that it came by its death from the following circumstances: — The wretched Editor had been in his usual state of ebriety, and in taking a draught of medicine, he had in it taken a piece of paper, being a portion of BENT'S NEWS; and   falling back in bis editorial chair, he immediately ex claimed "O!
