Frederick Eoss was charged on remand with stealing from Juuies Creswick on October 6, at Oak hurst, a saddle, bridle aud swag, of the value of £6. Mr. Coonan appeared for defendant. On Thursday and Friday last, ubout. two tons of stone which was con sidered quite equal to that crushed, was taken out. It is therefore ap parent that the rich stone is fairly plentiful, and at present there is no indication of it cutting out.
