To the Editor. [Newspaper Article] — The Canowindra Star — 22 March 1901

To the Editor. Sir,— Kindly contradict the statement that I have heard is now going the rounds of Canowindra and district to the effect that I told a party . by the name of Johnson that I altered, iny policy and ad dvess in Canowindra to suit the people there, and that it was quite different to the address 1 gave in Bathurst. That statement is absoltjtet/t untrtjE) and a reference to the ' Bnthurst Advocate,' which contained a very full report of my speech at Bathurst, and also at Eglinton, will prove that the speech at Canowindra was along -he same lino as the speoches I have delivered elsewhere.— ^Thanking j-ou in anticipafion, I am etc., W. Coarso xbrods were again easier, with only a limited number of buyers. Hides. — Supplies were only moderate, but the easier feeling noticeable last week became more pronounced.
