"COLLEGE DAYS." [Newspaper Article] — The Mount Barker Courier and Onkaparinga and Gumeracha Advertiser — 8 April 1927

'COLLEGE DAYS." ■ In "Collc-ge Days," as in that comedy classic,* "Grandma's Boy," Harold Lloyd lias taken a very serious idea, and. .with out the leaSt kidding or belittling the subject, has gotten a tremendous lot of fun out of it; and. without preaching, has put over a lesson. "College Days." puts over the psychology of being yourself, in a story of a first year student at college whose sole ambition is to be the pride of the college and the idol of his fellow students. But instead of achieving this worthy pinnacle by himself, he imitates others who have been popular. Instead of expressing liis own personalitjv-he is a reflection of everyone's pranks and tricks because of a boobisli willingness to do everything asked of him—ail in the hope of becoming fife prince of regular fellows! "College Days" will be screened at the Murray Bridge Lyric Theatre to morrow (Saturday) .
