WadawSday, Apil, 8, 172. Our New Press. At length, after no little t:oub!e and ex pense, we have the pleasure of announcing that our new cylinder press is in complete running order, so far as we are able to judge, and hat. this issue of the Herald has been printed upon it. Nor is this specimen of its work decisive as to its ability to do first class printing, for it is well knowu that all new maclitery runs stiffly at the begin ning, and requires time to get properly bet and idjuste&. The Press, fT Tibi.ili it is presented in our advertising columns, is from the Boston and Fairhaven ianufactory, Mass., and is one of the neatebt and most compact cylinder power presses we have ever seen, and its speed is all that a e ever expected of it. At a regular, moderate rate of speed, it turns out from ten to twelve sheets per minute, and we have already run it to fifteen, at the rate of nine hundred an hour. It will even run faster than this, but we are satisfied for the present, and while...
