:he wires are laid If Statehood Comes Flynn and Fer guson to bo the Senators- Deal is All Fixed Up- El Reno, Okla., Nov. 13. Sheriff Kelly, of Kingfisher county, was in the city yesterday. Talking about the political situation he said: "Wo are sure of statehood this winter and next fall the first legislature will meet. My opinion is that Dennis T. Flynn and Gov ernor Tom Ferguson will be the two first senators from the state of Oklahoma." It was so easy for the republi cans to count out Bill Cross that they think it a more simple mat ter to pick out a legislature that will do their bidding. Not a week ago, Dennis Flynn said: "You will not get statehood, the election was too close." President Roosevelt says: "I will do all I can to get statehood for Oklahoma this winter."
