Notwithstanding the heavy rain of t Wednesday, the river has been steadily - falling. We look, however, for a big river. Mr. Willis tells us that he will, at once, repair the bridge on the road be- 1 tween Mrs. Dinkgrave and the Morri- I son place. Mr. Fred Vollman has thoroughly repaired the Male Academy. The re pairs were, badly needed, as the build Ing was about to fall down. Mr. Gerspach is building a carpen- a ter's shop<f;qnting the nailroad between I Fourth and Fifth streets.
