C.Tate, who hvu near Balado, accidontly shothimaelf with a target rifle, from the effects of which he died about 8 o'oIook that night. He vaa plowing and had his gun with him, presumably to kill birds, and, the weapon fell from the ploVr and . was discharged, the ball striking him below the heart, ranging upward into the lunga. This is an institu- tion needed in several places. Rockdale Messenger. In the county court Tuesday Tom Wood plead guilty to steal- ing 'a bottle of whisky and was fined $50 and given two days in jail. Rockdale Messenger.
