The Wedding Breakfast. [Newspaper Article] — Ouyen Mail — 19 September 1917

The- Wedding Breakfast. The idea of carrying out a wedding breakfast in detail for the amusement of a crowd is somewhat Startling to the orthodox mind. When it was announced a few weeks   ago the All Saints Social Club had     decided to run such a novelty there were not wanting those who saw   failure. It was a travesty, and isunmdry other h:rd tShings, hot that inherent .qualisy which rises supreme in the great majority of humans-not to mention the lower animsls -cnriosity, gave the show an impetus which perhaps nothing else would I have done so efcl.tually. There was a big sale of tickets, equal we be lieve, to that of she most sanguine of Ithe energetic committee, and the Svarions tables were soon fully occu (ped. Speetulation wa.s rife for days I before as to who would impersoanate the supposed happy couple, while the other characters were also the o'oject Sof a lot of guessing. And all the gcesses were wrong! On entering tcte...
