(From Hansard,) I Mr. Maorossan said that before the House divided, bo wished to say a few word? concerning himself, and to remove misapprehensions which had arisen during the course of the debate. But he would first address a few words to what had fallen front the Mayor of Brisbane, who WBB also member for South Brisbane, who spoke so strongly in defence of the Govern ment. That gentleman was reported to have said at a meeting a fow weeks ago, " that the Government wue a good one for lirisbano, it bad already done a great deal (or Brisbane, and he hoped it would do a great deal more."
