Tocumwal. November, 13. The weather continues, dry, and during this morning dust storms prevailed. The rain, which fell last month seems to have benefited some of the crops, and several farmers about here have expressed them selves as being hopeful of a fair yield. The Murray is now a fine noble looking stream.. During the week it rose fourteen feet but hns fallen a foot since. Those in hopes. of benefiting by the overflow of the . river have been sadly disappointed. The mission in the Catholic Church has been well attended every day through the week, and.in the evening it is estimated that about 250 persons have been present. The mission is to close on Sunday evening next.
