A reply to tin district's petition to the Shire Counril for an extension of the NambourMap lelon tramway In Dulong was received. The reply stated that the Council's en gineer had received instructions to make a survey for a route and estimation of the cost. Yandina. RACE MEETING A committee meeting of the Yandina Race Club was held in the Australian Hotel on Saturday night. 28th April. The resignation of the chairman (Mr. J. Best) was received with resret: the appointment of another was deferred till the following Thursday (3rd May) when a general meeting would be held. Mr. Birmingham was elected as dele gate at the meeting to be held in Nam bour re formation of a North Coast racing association. The next race meeting is to be held on May 19th. and the club has decided to run the booth by voluntary labour. FRUIT DESPATCHES. 430 cases of bananas and pines were consigned last week to the Southern markets. ANZAC DAY. The R.S.S.I.L.A. held a united Me morial Service in the School of Arts on Anzac Day.
