Cr. May, who made such a good fight in the Federal election, has been asked by a number of his support ers to contest, the seat, and is prepared to do so. We understand, however, that Mr E. Yeomans, the Northcote general secretary of Mr Meinbrey's previous election committee, has convened a meet ing of the committees from the elector ate for Wednesday next at Northcote to consider the position.
