On the 20th of May, Mir Grelty, in company with his wife, camoe out to the contract, and we measured the work ; he said it was all right, the next tiny was the council mecting, and onl the fillowing day I got p lid for the wolrk. I asked him what about tihe extra work ? IHe told me to send a letter to the council. I lid so, and lie denied there was any extra work done ; after I had been working on the contract for about u month, I found there was a mistake in the plan.
