A VALUABLE PEAR TgREE.-Our friend Edonard Weil; of the upper Fanboargh, had a bunch of four pears in cluster,. which are the se cond crop of this year. The first ripened in June, and this the se cond crop ripened at the end of Sep toenber. In addition to this-there are blossoms for a thirddcrop. Is this not a valuable tree for the times. If the third crop should ripen, we think it will be a relief to the over-worked freedmen to go in for that tree, and substitute it for cotton. Then can they say our labors are over, we can live on pears now, and do no more hard work.. This tree-is twelve years old.
