OLD WOMAN AND HER MONEY SEWN IN HER CORSETS. MELBOURNE Monday. When the landlord called upon Rebecca Crozier , living in Garden street, North Melbourne. for his rent to-day he failed to get any response to his knocking. He learned from the neighbours that the old   woman (who is 68yrs of age ) had not been seen about for five days. He there upon burst in the door and found the woman lying on the floor in an almost unconacious condition from exhaustion. The police were sent for, and in response   to signs made by Crozier they took charge     of a pair of corsets. in which were sewn 100 sovereigns and some silver . The woman was admitted to the Melbourne Hospital in a bad state of emeciation. .
