S WOL SALES. The Loindon wool . males opened this evening. 'Upwanrd. of 5,000 hales were offered, prinripully from Port Phillip and the Cape of Good Hope. The total arrivals pritr to the opening of the sales, were up wards of 120,000 bales. The attendance of both home and foreign buyers was very large, but the usual eagerness observable on the opening daywos absent. Prices, as com pared with those obtained at the last series of sales,?showaslightdeclino,but thepurohasesof the first day could scarcely be considered u fair eriterion, as only a miscellaneous lot was offered.

King Amadeuln hIs definitely abdicated, and', the Chambers constituted in sovereign Cortes have unanimously. accepted his ab. dication, and proclaim the Republic of Spain by a majority of 256 to 82 votes. The cause of the abdication of the King is a question relating-to artillery.
