Swisshelin, formerly editor of THE DKMOCUAT, is nbovit to commcuee the publication of a new paper to be called The Reconstructionist. We can warrant that it will not contain many honeyed words of sweet endeartnant for rebels, or favor the yieldings of vital principles to the ar rogant demands of pardoned slaveholders. Strong words are needed at the national capital, and never more than now. WE have received from Horace Waters, No. 481 Broadway, New York, three pieces of choice new music: The Gem of the Mountains, (Mazurka,) by Mrs. E. M. Parkhurst Our Soldiers' Last March, in troducing the celebrated "Peace Jubilee," by Mrs. Parkhurst The First Kiss at the Gate, a ballad, words by T. Johnson, mu sic by A. A. Crilley.
