G." has another pointed communication in to-day's paper on the subject of the Tom Scott railroad scheme, in which ha places Scott's henchmen who ftockied in such numbeis to New Or- leans in a very ridiculous position. Among these delegates were Fair- childs and Jot Guntcr of Sherman. These Tom Scott delegates, it will be recollected, made a silly attempt to prevent Major George of this city, the regularly accredited delegate from the Denison Board of Trade, from taking his seat in the Conven- tion and now it appears, with all their bluster and self-importancr they voted for one bill when they supposed they were voting for an- other ! It is apparent that the men who went to New Orleans to bolster up Mr. Scott's measure are really ignorant of the whole question, and were manipulated by Scott as so many Jumping Tacks. —— J. .
