Wedding NEWMAN — BARNEWALL A very pretty wedding was celebrated at St. Mary's Church, Alexandra, on Saturday, 25th inst., when Daisy Mabel, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Char- les Newman, "Elderslie," Kori- ella, was married to Alfred Regi- nald, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Barnewall, Katandra West. Rev. Fr. Beare officiated. The bride made a charming picture as she entered the Church on her father's arm. The bride wore a white satin gown cut on classical lines, feat- uring a portrait neck line; the side panieres of the skirt fell to a long train. The embroidered tulle veil kindly lent by her aunt (Mrs. M. Hall), was held in place by a coronet of orange blossom and she carried a trailer bouquet of white gardenias. A rope of pearls knotted at the throat completed the picture. Stores was again broken into'on Sunday last, it is thought by the police to be be tween midnight on Sunday and 4 a m. on Monday. Stock to the value of about £800 was taken.
